Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" covers related mechanisms such as browser local/session storage, which store small pieces of data on your device in the same way but aren’t sent back to a server automatically like cookies are.

This policy explains exactly which of these technologies PURE5™ Extraction uses on this website, why, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal information more broadly.

We keep this list to what is actually running on this site — not a generic template.

• Google reCAPTCHA v3 (necessary)

  Used on our contact, quote, and download forms, and on our chat widget’s lead-capture step, to block spam and automated abuse. Google sets its own cookies to score traffic as human or automated. This is required for those forms to function — without it, we have no way to prevent bot submissions.

• Chat session storage (functional, first-party)

  Our chat widget stores your current conversation in your browser’s session storage so the conversation persists if you navigate between pages. This data is not a cookie, is never sent to a third party, and is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab.

• Google Analytics (optional)

  Used to understand how visitors use this site (pages viewed, traffic sources) so we can improve it. Google Analytics only loads after you click Accept on the cookie banner — it never runs if you decline. Google sets its own cookies to measure usage; see Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for how it processes this data.

We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting scripts, or any other third-party analytics beyond what’s listed above. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy and our consent banner before any new optional tracking goes live.

When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Decline. Because reCAPTCHA is necessary for form security and isn’t optional, declining doesn’t disable it — it simply records your preference and dismisses the banner. There is currently nothing optional to opt out of; this will change if we introduce analytics or advertising cookies, at which point declining will disable those specifically.

You can also control cookies directly through your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies site-by-site or globally. Note that blocking reCAPTCHA-related cookies at the browser level may prevent our forms from submitting.

We may update this Cookie Policy as the technologies we use change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes — such as adding a new optional tracker — will also be reflected in our consent banner.
